Being A Christian

If you look at my Jesus page you will see that this is similar but I would like Christians to understand this.
When it comes to the Bible I know that it doesn’t matter what the world says or what I think God says, it will be true. I have faith that comes from God.
But how do you know you can believe the Bible? Because it is trustworthy. When I read it I can’t find contradictions so when God asks me to have faith, to trust him, I can. I trust God because I want to.
You know how you find Christians beating up on non-Christians for not believing?
Well, if God practices what he preaches and the Bible (which is God-breathed, God’s word) says to “Do unto others as you want them to do unto you” then Christians and non-believers need to realize that God doesn’t love them out of compulsion, manipulation, or duty, but because he wants to. And he wants the same from you. Don’t try to love him because you think you have too. He will wait for you, won’t ever withdraw his love, and will never give up.
Did you know you can tell God how angry you are at him and he won’t withdraw his love? Sometimes that’s how we get healing: by telling the other person how much we think they’ve hurt us. I guess you just have to trust God that [he will never leave you nor forsake you]. And you can fall away from God but he is always waiting for you to come back, he won’t withdraw his love from you, and will never give up.
Is this getting to sound redundant? If you look through the Old Testament you will see God getting redundant all the time.
So what is your tactic to bring others to Christ, what do you tell people who you know are non-believers on a regular basis? Do you tell them about their sins?
According to Ephesisans 5 we are just supposed to lead those who don’t know Christ to the light. And in the passages of the Bible concerning pointing out someone’s sin, isn’t it talking about fellow believers? Paul directly says in 1 Corinthians 5:9-13, that he would not judge people that weren’t believers.
Another question that may come up is, “Ok I’m a Christian but I don’t agree with you.” I say let us be unified by the Bible and the Holy Spirit. There are differences in our words of knowledge. It is not as simple as one way is the right way when you get deeper in your relationship with God. Right off the bat you should be able to see that Jesus is the only because He says he is. Then you move from there with your relationship with him. Don’t be a dictator about what other people fill their lives with. True, God may call you to correct others with love and wisdom (in a quiet manner). Christians should be able to unite to do things that God has called us all to do. Like feed the poor, and care for the widows and orphans. Things like that. And if we have a problem with the way a fellow believer believes, we should go to God’s Word and pray. We should also deal with ourselves. What in ourselves is like that person we don’t like? Sometimes when we feel emotions of resentment toward someone we have a mite in our eye and are trying to take a mite out of another person’s eye. Jesus says to first deal with your mite then help your brother or sister.
