Making Tutorials With GIMP

So you may want to make your own GIMP tutorials. Here is a way to do it. Images are good to use. But if you take a screenshot(there should be something like ‘print screen’ on your keyboard)then you will get a faraway picture…

…unless you scale it.
There are two ways you can scale. Either really bigger or really smaller.
In this case you need to make the image bigger to get a moderate selection size. This time you get a good selection size of 500 pixels by 200 pixels. Sometimes you need to scale it smaller to get a good size. But I don’t think you have too do this to often.

When you are choosing your selection size your image should not be too big. I would think your content should be 500 pixels wide or greater. Your images should be at the most 500 pixels wide and so be able to fit in your content area.

And there you have it. A good way to make tutorial images without them being small and blurred.
